  • The Web Beyond the Desktop

People interact with web sites and web apps in many ways… beyond the desktop. I’ve used my Sidekick to update my Twitter page. I’ve accessed web sites through mobile phones and some experiences were horrible even though they were specific sites for PDAs and phones!

I tried to accesed my e-mails while on a short trip without a laptop (seriously) and it took way too long to select and delete e-mails. I decided it wasn’t worth the effort and that I’ll just have to put up with hundreds of messages upon my return.

Dave Shea explores how and where people access web sites and gives advice on building web sites that can be viewed in a variety of devices.
